FREE Eye Tests and FREE Spectacles for Children!

All children under the age of 16, and all students under the age of 19 in full-time education are eligible for a free NHS sight test. Children under the age of 16 are eligible for NHS Optical Vouchers which can obtain free spectacles from a limited range or can be put towards the cost of any new spectacles and designer frames at Sight & Sound.

Complete Spectacles FREE – NHS Help in Paying For Spectacles!

Over-60s are eligible for a free NHS sight test. As well as being eligible for a free NHS eye test at Sight & Sound, you may also be entitled to an NHS Optical Voucher. This can be used towards paying the cost of your spectacles.

NHS Optical Vouchers are available depending on age, health or income. To find out more, simply call into Sight and Sound and ask for more details. If you are eligible, you can obtain an NHS Optical Voucher from Sight and Sound when you have your sight test.
